My family and I stopped here to eat on our long drive. The staff is very friendly. We were seated immediately. The food was portioned good, the perfect temperature and tasted wonderful. I would certainly eat here again in this quaint little town if we are ever near here again.

We were on a long road trip and decided to stop here to eat with my family. We stopped in and was greeted by the person in the front, he was kind. The waitress did not say one word to us as she gave us the menus and walked away. She stood in the back helped everyone else and didn't even grab our drink orders. The atmosphere felt very awkward and they definitely made you feel like an outsider. We ended up walking out, not placing any orders (because no one came to take our order). When we started to get up to leave the waitress came over, still saying nothing at all. It is obvious we weren't welcomed there and that we were going to get sub par service. If I could give ZERO STARS, I would. Worst restaurant experience I've had.

Best chicken fried steak in town. Probably the only chicken fried steaks in town! But that doesn't mean they're not good because there are excellent! We stopped at loves to use the restroom and there's a subway is there but I looked on yelp and solid Kirks place was just three minutes away. Just across the street , we do the U-turn on the road and parallel park next to the curb. Got out of a car locked in which we probably didn't have to do. Walked in the front door and was greeted with everyone being happy and nice percent down and the booze and immediately ordered a chicken fried steak and a five salad chain when it was ranch along with french fries. If this all sounds it's because I'm speaking it instead of typing it.

Best food ever! Finally a place that knows how to cook. Homemade, fresh. Will be stopping whenever we pass through.

What a great spot to eat! Homemade chips & salsa were delightful. The fried okra was very good. Fresh not frozen. I came in for the quesadilla burger...unfortunately it's a daily special & not served on this day. I did have the Thousand Island burger that was today's special. It did not disappoint. The burger was huge & very good! The place may only have one person cooking & we came in right at lunch time but we were still served in a timely manner & food was hot & delicious. I recommend if you are ever through this area, you must stop in for some good, fresh home cooking!
